Today's Discussion

Anyone heard of the ProLine 11 gallon air compressor that's at Pepboys?
I noticed it's included in the black friday ads, and I know my boyfriend needs one. It's an awesome deal, but I can't find info on it anywhere, ya k now, reviews n stuff. Anyone know where I can find reviews? Or have you heard of the brand and know anything about it? I just don't want to waste my time and money if it's not worth it. Thanks!!!!!

The proline series is a decent brand. As far as reviews I don't know where to look. I seen the same ad for this compressor but 11 gallons is fairly small. This compressor is good for stuff around the house, filling tires, using air powered construction tools, some small automotive air tools and tools that require a low CFM's (this is how much air the tool uses during normal operation). If your not pleased with the unit or it's not the size you need you can always return it just keep the receipt, Pep Boys usually doesn't hassle the customer on returns if they are returned in good condition. I used to be a Mgr. at one and we NEVER refused a return, If they give you a hard time just go to another store and return it there. I hope this helps you GOOD LUCK

a buddy got one, shop around......its not good for much.....short bursts with an impact and airing up tires thats pretty much it

You get what you pay for. I'd HIGHLY recommend buying one from Sears instead. The compression seal is going to wear out, and you'll end up throwing the whole thing away, unless you go with Sears. They've got a GREAT service to get you any individual piece you need so you won't have to replace the whole thing, and that'll make it cheaper in the long run.
