How can I put subwolfers in a 1973 Corvette?
I currently own a 1973 Corvette, and I am planning on fixing it up over the summer. My problem is that I would like to put subwolfers in it, but I have no trunk, and no back seat. If you have seen a car like this then you know that there IS a little space behind the seats... but that is where the battery is. So is there really a way to put subs in a 1973 Corvette? Please help! [I would like ALOT of bass. Some where around the power of 2 12's maybe if possable.] [The most possable]

I recently worked on a 1976. The only way that I found that we could fit anything that would produce bass was a 6 inch Bazooka tube (with the built in 200 watt amp), or a small jvc 6 inch under seat powered sub. I would personally go with the Bazooka tube if you wanted a sub.

Your going to have to use a bazooka tube they come in different sizes with powered subwoofers already in them, or buy a slanted triangle box inclouser, both one or the other should fit behind the seats. Check out JC Whitney.com & click on car audio.

EDIT: u wont be able to get huge bass in a space that small, u cant put quarters in a slot big enough for a dime. dont get a bass tube they suck. go to sonicelectronix.com, under brands go to polk audio, they have a couple 8"sub models. go with the momo series. 200watts rms. 1 of those and a 200rms amp will give u good lows. u can get a box for it on crutchfield. its a truck box so its small. they have 1 thats .35cu ft which is exactly the right size for that sub

Subwoofers* u can put 2 12" you just have to go to a shop that customizes car audio
