Depends how hot it gets in Toronto. Depends how much you use it. Depends on the wattage. Depends on what your utility changes per kilowatt. You can figure all this out yourself by looking that the units consumption per hour and your electricity bill and what they charge per kwh.

on the average the fan itself consumes about .75 kw hours daily. Now add the the a/c and you use about 12 kw a day. Multiply that times your kw hour cost and you have your answer.
