I got a planner at the place that I bought my dress. I'm sure that they have what you are looking for at a bookstore like Walden's in the mall *U.S.* I got married 9 mths after meeting my guy!! It's been 12 yrs !! It told me when to do each detail like get 1st fitting, when to send invitations, when to have them respond with an rsvp (which no one did), and so on !! This is an easy one, there are TONS of checklists available at your local bookstore. Also, Martha Stewart Weddings magazine has one in EVERY issue. If you don't want to spend a lot (some of them are worth it, though), used bookstores sometimes carry them. Planners are available in the yellowpages, or word of mouth. You can also go to weddings sites, where there will be everything that you could need in one convienient place. Congrats!

You don't really need a planner you just need to be organized here are somethings that helped one of the other ladies with a question: Main things: Church: decorations, flowers, unity candle memorial vase on the alter, programs, Pictures, Video, guest book and pen, music Reception hall: transportation to and from, Food, Flowers, Decorations, Music, Cake, Favors, cake cutter, cake topper, card holder(bird cage, wishing well, basket) place holder cards? seating chart, wine glasses(engraved?) Misc: Invitations, thank yous, favors(bookmarks, matchboxes, candy, cakes) flower girl basket, ring bearing pillow, bubbles or bird seed(no rice it harms the birds if they eat it) Bride: Shoes, nylons, bra, can can skirt, veil, jewlery, tiara, ring bridal party gifts, something old(grandmas necklace in flowers), something new(dress), something borrowed(mom's earings), something blue (bluebird pin in flowers) (you have to wear all of these) Groom: Tux, shoes, tie or bow, gift registry(think of normal things you may need also, zip lock baggies...only ask for towels from one store or you will have ten different kinds of mix match towels) you will not always get sets unless you ask your parents to mention to others to go in together on gifts(example: your aunts and uncles can each buy you one or two pans from the same set, that way you can have a matching set. Same thing with bed sets, or glasses...also ask for a furnicture gift card...plans for a new bed, new living room set All of these things you can ask your parents to pass on by word of mouth) Let your hotels in your area know and they will set so many rooms aside of guests(I don't think there is a charge...these accomedations you would put on the invites) When I was planning my wedding a year ago I found it really nice to buy storage tubs and put everything in it that I purchased. I also used a three ring binder with page protectors and keeped everything in the same place. When it came to the wedding day my husband was able to pick it up that morning and bring it with, with out me calling to make sure he got everything. It also worked nice through out the day. I made one for the reception hall, favors, name cards, candles, centerpieces, cake topper, special instructions for the decorator and the card holder(mine was a bird cage) and extra ribbon. The second one was for me, extra shoes, nylons, emergency beauty kit (clear nail polish, file, tweezers, clipper, needle & thread, hair pony, bobbie pins, safty pins, extra glasses screws and driver, lip stick, lip gloss, extra pair of earings) 2 bottles of water, trail mix(peanuts, M&M, pretzels and rasins) perfume, jewlery, your special stuff you need, small zip-up sweater, small purse, socks, stain remover pads or tide bleach pen. The third was extra stuff for the church, decorations, guest book and pen(I used scrapbooking pens), bubbles, unity candle and extra side candles, programs, flower girl basket, and ringbearer pillow, wet wipes, a table cloth or sheet to but your dress on when you are getting dressed out doors, and anything the groom would need, the rings in boxes. special note for the groom on how happy you are to almost be his wife. Something I should have had: floral tape and wire, one of the main flowers in my arrangment broke during pictures and we tried everything and ended up having to go get some. A list of the pictures I wanted taken...think of everything...have one huge family picture, both sides in one. I also learned that in the pictures you need to push your shoulders down and stand up really tall or you loose your neck : ) also but your flowers down more (almost straight arms). Give someone the job to be your gopher...the less stress you have the more fun it will be. Best friends that are not in the party are good choices. Encourage other people to take a lot of seemingly unimportant pictures you may really appieciate them later. For example: have the groom give your maid of honor his ring, and the bride give the best man her ring or Putting on your make-up. Best of Luck...you will be a beautiful happy stress free bride.
