What computer is best for automotive diagnostics?
I'm looking for a new laptop, however, I'm not sure what would fit exactly what I need. From what I know, diagnostic programs can be installed on operating systems (such as Windows and Mac). I'm looking for something that I could use for college, something that would be able to do diagnostics on vehicles (I'm looking into going into automotive diagnostics, or at least in the automotive industry). I had thought Mac may be the way to go, but I don't know how they are as far as compatibility with a lot of automotive diagnostic tools. Also it's so hard to find things that are compatible for Macs. I'm worried that I'll hit a lot of walls instead of being able to easily do what I want. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
