a/c air handler is making a loud now when running. Can below in air handler be malfunctioning?
My a/c air handler is very loud when a/c is running. I've also noticed the blower or fan within the air handler is very dirty, looks like mildew or mold on fan blades. I have mildew shooting out a/c vents thru out the house. Can a blower be replaced separately within the air handler?

If there is a lot of debris collected on the blower wheel it could have it out of balance causing a vibration. If removed from the unit it can be washed off with a garden hose.
