I wouldn't do it, it would spark fun at airport security though. I once went on a cruise and i bought a wooden slingshot WITHOUT ammo and they said now and that was like 5 bucks down the drain. Plus with everyone getting all fussy over terror anything resembling a gun would get turned down. Sorry Mate i dont like the ruless and id change it in a heartbeat but airports don't roll that way

Don't do it unless you are going hunting or something where you can show or prove you will need a gun of any type.

Unless you actually need to take it with you then my advice would be don't take it. If you do need to take it then check with your carrier about their rules and regulations as each carrier and country is different. If you do need to take it then you have to check it in to go in the hold. Inform you carrier that you will be checking a firearm onto the flight. You will need your firearms licence to present to staff when you check in. A firearms officer will come and take the gun from you, will ensure that it is safe to travel and will then escort it to the plane personally. The same proceedure will happen when you come to collect the gun. Do ensure that you allow extra time for this to happen.

No problem with that at all. Be sure to call out to your friend, Jack, at the security point and yell "Hi Jack" in your loudest voice as you reach in to show him your soft air gun.

you cannot take anything on the plane with you in your carry on that resembles a weapon, even if its a toy. you may put it in your check on luggage, there is no problem with that.
