Albrecht Durer..?
What works of Albrecht Durer became famous early in his life? I'm doing a report on him because to me, he's obviously gained a lot of respect then. But how did he gain respect in justt the renaissance?

Durer was most famous in his lifetime for the wood engravings, such as the four horsemen of the apocalypse. I believe there was an engraved version of the praying hands, which today we know from prints and copies of the painting. Even in his own day -- well he was a man of his time. And his time was a time of great piety. While he certainly did secular pictures the number of religious prints he designed, and which were well known is so large you are better off going to sites about him. Read the wikipedia.
