What is the best Cold Air Intake system for an 09 Altima Coupe?
I am currently driving a 2009 Nissan Altima Coupe. I want to put in a cold air intake. Just wondering which one is the best for the least amount of money. I know it costs a few hundred. But just wondering.

dont alter that car/the warranty will go out the window/that crap of sewer pipe will do nothing anyway/engine is computer controlled and you will cause serious trouble

the cheapest air intake system you can put on that car will have to be put together from a few pieces you can purchase at your local kragen or O" Riley's They sell a universal intake system you assemble by buying different components and putting it together and making it work for your car its the cheapest system available on the market other than e bay. Best intake system? Drop in a k&n filter...won't do a damn thing. I still don't understand why people buy these daily driver floaty overweight cars then expect to turn them into ferraris with bolt ons but "cheap". NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.

Have fun with your car. Don't listen to people talking about damage being caused by CAI. What a crock. Yes, oiled filters can cause damage to the mass air flow sensor if too much oil is used. You can avoid that trouble altogether by using a dry filter. Other than that, they are harmless and just allow your engine to breathe better. I would highly recommend a CAI that uses an AEM dryflow filter. If you live somewhere that has a lot of rain, you might want to also consider a bypass valve, which prevents water from being sucked into the engine. The Nismo model comes with a bypass valve, but the Nismo is also more expensive. There is also the option of WAI, such as BERK, etc. You can learn more about your car by reading Nissan discussion forums such as nissanclub.com.
