I am wanting to broadcast my Fonera wifi signal to the nearby park, what sort of antenna should I get?
Hey everybody, I am wanting to boradcast my wifi signal to the nearby park, but I am wondering what kind of antenna I should get. I am thinking a high gain antenna, but don't know where to go from there. Thanks!

For a quick and dirty test, maybe a home made "cantenna" would be worth a try, though the original "pringles can" seems to be beaten by several other sizes. A good directional gain antenna (cantenna, yagi, dish) can offer considerably more gain than an omnidirectional. As a rough guide, 6dB gain should double the usable line of sight range
