How do you think ancient Egyptian art connects with and reflects their religion and culture?
I am very interested in ancient art. I especially have a love for ancient Egyptian art. What do you think?

they drew what they believed like how they sacrificed who the ruler was there letters/symbols could also be seen as art because they spoke it and it was written on most structures not to mention for religion they worshiped some of the art they created for their gods it all goes back to what they believed

yes and no, at first only presets were able to read and write. this can also affect art. at the time only extremely wealthy like pharos and nobles could even afford it (kid-a like how they were theonly oness at first that couldafforddmummificationn). nobecausee they were apolytheisticc meaning theybelievedd in many gods andgoddessess. so in the short, yes.remember that theybe livedd that thePharaoho was an god that wasincarnated intoto man!

Well, first off... You need to find the UNCENSORED art and culture of the ancient Egyptians... The British censored and scrubbed a WHOLE LOT out of the record because they felt it was inappropriate for mass consumption. In the British Museum, they even screwed direction signs over the erect phallus’s that were a MAJOR part of the early Egyptian Culture. Their creation myth has it that Ra and... Damn... what was his wife's name? Well, Isis or whatever... The universe was created when she gave Ra a hand job and that was the creation of EVERYTHING. That was their explanation for the Milky Way in the sky... Their head priest and priestess would go to the appropriate chamber at sun rise EVERY DAY and greet the day creation of the new day in the same way that their god and goddess created the universe. Yeah... Hand jobs... I swear on all that is good in the world… They have had some History Channel, Discovery Channel, and National Geographic Channel shows that have all backed each other up. I think it was History Channel that had the first show I ever saw about the FULL Egyptian Culture… Unedited… There are MANY MANY layers to Egyptian Culture and the West edited out a LOT of it because it would have made our inner child cry or some bullshit like that. It is the same with Roman Culture... Romans used the image of the male member as a good luck charm and put them EVERYWHERE... They sculpted them out of clay and cast them in bronze... They used them for vases and even used small ones as jewelry and hung them as wind chimes... If you do your research and learn about the ancient cultures... You will see that they put all parts of the human body in to their art and culture... The parts that TODAY we see as "Bad". Finding TRUE and FULL representations of their original art forms is VERY hard in this "Censorship" world we now live in... Top it off that Egypt has been subjugated by the evils of Islam and not only did we have the British censoring what they brought back to the West... We have the Censors following the will of their god chipping out images they don't like and smashing their history under the boot of their CURRENT religion. The art of the Egyptians has evolved along with their culture… What was Trendy in one era was not in another… The evolution of their burial rituals speaks to their constant advancement in culture, art, religion, and technology.
