Fabulous!In town near mine,Novi Sad,Serbia there was Andy Warhol exhibition,and o my...It was so good.There was over 100.000 visitors!And we are not such a big country!I think that this says a lot about him...:)

people like andy warhal and others of his era defined the world that is today. they made art more accesible to people.art was brought from galleries and museums and put in form of newspaper ads, comic books and printed matrial. but i wonder if it had a positive effect. cause i see it as the begining of consumer culture and cut throat urge to sell stuff. they were trying to reflect what they saw. but it gave a more concrete form for others to make, package and sell it to people. great art got exploited.

I LOVE HIM!!!! I love the way he made us really stare at things we see in everyday life! and his Movies are so brilliant...even though "sleep" is sooo boring, it makes you see that one does appreciate sleep. and his portraits of celebrities are to die for! *sigh* if only he were straight...and still alive. i also like him cause we both suffered from gallstones. He's my favorite artist.

Unbelievably inventive. The idea of the factory and his outlook on art and life. That art can be made by anybody anywhere and in different methods. brilliant.
