Arm's Reach Mini Co-Sleeper or standard bassinet?
Soon 2 b new mommy...skeptical about the co-sleeper. After sleeping in the co-sleeper will my baby want to sleep in her crib w/o me by her side? How much more convenient is the co-sleeper than a regular bassinet?

I am not sure about the difference between the two. A friend of mine had the Arm's reach and I am pretty sure that it was able to hold more weight. Every baby is so different...some adjust just fine, and some not so fine so it all depends on your baby.

I had my son in a regular bassinet and kept it next to my bed until i was comfortable enough to put him in his crib in his room and listen with the monitor. He actually slept better when we switched. It is definitely a "mommy" decision. Whatever you feel more comfortable with, is what you should go with :o) Congrats and good luck :o)

I had the original co-sleeper and it is great. She was right next to me and it made nursing all night long so much easier plus I had a c-section so getting up and down was very hard for a long time. The cosleeper holds more weight then a regular bassinet, most bassinets go up to 15lbs where the cosleeper goes up to 23 lbs. You'll find your baby will be individual when she'll be ready for crib sleeping. Most mom's end up with baby in bed with them at some point during the night. My daughter doesn't sleep very long no matter where she sleeps. After she out grew the top part of the co-sleeper I put her in the bottom part and kept her in my room for a while (still nursing) now she is in her crib in her own room (8 months old). I have the cosleeper in the living room as a playpen. Cosleepers are more expensive then many bassinets.
