Today's Discussion

What Art (painting, pencil drawing, charcol, any thin really)would you like to see?
I am an artist looking to sell some original creations, but I would like to know what people other than me and my friend would like to see and be interested in buying.

I only buy oil paintings. One has only so much wall space you know. And I wouldn't buy anything from an artist who was trying to paint what she thought would sell. Paint what you must, what you feel, what you are driven to paint for yourself. If it's any good it'll sell.

I understand that youre trying to find out what people look for in an artwork, but dont let that influence what you create. Its up to as an artist to do what you enjoy, not just please the crowd.
