oh my god, go to tribeca or soho, every fifth shop seems to be a baby boutique....and, they are all upscale. last time i was in NY, i was run off the sidewalk by all the strollers. seriously, it's baby galore in manhattan nowadays. you will have plenty to choose from. I went to Bu And the Duck where i got my baby's bedding, as well as a half a dozen other boutiques. I wish i remembered their names. Here's Bu And the Duck info...
