I have a Graco swing in the jungle print. It has a timer, 6 speeds, reclines, has toys in the tray and plays music & nature sounds. He loves it, which means i do!

fisher price cradle swing, the kind with the papasan (round) seat..my son loves it..we got it from Target. plays nature noises and classical music and has a mirror and animals that spin on the top.

You should look for one that has a power supply as well as battery operated. the batteries run out at the worst times... Good ones have optional music and vibration features. Mine has 2-speed which is nice for the times when my daughter falls asleep in the swing, you can just turn it down and she sleeps like there is no care in the world.

We bought my son that swing..He LOVED it. He used it until he was 7-8 months! If you read the review seems like a lot of people had problems with the motor but we never did. It's a really nice swing. They have blue and pink. I'm due with my second March 29th...If its a girl we want to get the pink one. Good luck!

i have the fisher price aquarium cradle swing i liek it and so have my babies but it really goes through batteries fast, even the expensive ones, and i dont use the light or music or mobil features, i just use the swinging button to save on batteries but it still goes through them fast. it takes 4- D batteries.

I have the Graco Lovin Hugs Basic Model and I love it and so does my son. He will not nap anywhere else! Pros: Weighted rated to 30lbs instead of 25lbs 6 position reclining seat 5 point harness instead of standard seat belt music and nature sounds HEARTBEAT SOUND - the best thing for a fussy newborn! timer volume control Basic grey - goes with everything Decent battery life if you buy good batteries (get rechargeables though if you can afford them, it will pay off) very sturdy quieter than many other swings I have heard for motor noise Pros: the tray is very stiff to undo until it wears in have to buy attachable toys separately battery powered not very portable (although we managed with a van to bring it camping, if you have a car it won't be going anywhere) Don't use the mobile, it falls off.

I saw a new one that came out that I WOULD have loved but it came out after I already had one. It's the Graco SweetPeace Newborn Soothing Center. It's a swing and a bouncer with built in swaddling and all these other nifty features. I just think it's cool cause you don't need a seperate swing and bouncer. I have a townhouse and every corner is filled with baby gear! It has so many different features, it may be a bit more pricey than a reg. swing but it might be cheaper than getting a swing and bouncer!

This swing is the new swing of all swings that was just released. Its amazing. It can plug into the wall, has 5 pt harness, you can plug an mp3 player into it for the baby to have its own playlist, it remembers the last setting that you used, you can pop the seat out and snap your graco car seat into it if baby is sound asleep in the car seat!, nature sounds, vibration, and music. I could go on and on but this swing is totally worth every penny. We had the papasan swing with my son and even though he really liked it we had to stop using it just after a couple months because it wasn't a 5 pt harness, he started to wiggle out of the seat even with the straps on. So once I started looking for swings with a 5pt harness its amazing how many choices you can elliminate just based off of that alone.
