The Martin Backpacker is the one everybody knows... but honestly, I don't know that it sounds all that great. There is a music store in CA called Lark in the Morning that had a $120 (ish) travel guitar that we took on a river rafting trip in the Grand Canyon a few years back. The model we picked up was called the Gypsy Travel guitar I think? They don't show it on their website anymore. It sounded decent, wasn't outrageously priced, and did the trick. Now they show a more expensive model of the same style of guitar - only 2 pounds. Still, if you're thru-hiking, or even section hiking at a week at a time or more, you'll feel every ounce in your pack. I'd look at picking up an inexpensive ukelele and noodle on that. You'll come out of your hike having learned a new instrument, and you should save some serious ounces on your pack weight.
