Ballet Dancer?
I want to get back to ballet dancing. I had training for 1 year in 9th grade. I did really well. I am now and 10th grade going to the 11th and I haven't danced for a year. I still remember some of the techniques though. I called a dancing place to start taking dance classes in the summer so that when the season start up i may be at the other girls level. My question is do I have a chance? Is it too late to get involved?

You go, girl! If you love to dance then you must dance! I think taking summer classes to catch up is a great idea. That way you'll be ready when the fall/winter classes start up! Smart thinking and I wish you all the best!

its Never too late to get involved again, the fact that you like to dance enough to go back says alot about you. and you may be behind when you first go back but dont get discouraged take what you learn home and work on it and ask your teachers for tips to get you back to where you were when you were dancing. if you work hard and it you will be just fine. good luck!

it's never too late to get involved but just realize that if you want to be a professional ballet dancer/performer you are a leetle too late. good luck!
