What does it mean if i keep having dreams about being barefoot?
I keep having dreams about going somewhere and then realizing that i forgot to put on my shoes. What does that mean.

Possibly that you feel vulnerable to some circumstance in life. Nakedness ... or bare foot....is a sign of vulnerability.

To dream that you are barefoot, represents your playful attitudes and relaxed, carefree frame of mind. Alternatively, being barefoot indicates poverty, lack of mobility, or misunderstanding. You have low self-esteem and lack confidence in yourself. Or you may be dealing with issues concerning your self-identity.You are unprepared for what is ahead for you.

from my source barefoot could mean poverty, your walking barefoot because you don't have money to afford the things you need in life. you don't realize that you don't have the accessories because of your financial difficulties making life feel like a burden on your shoulders a lost of a job perhaps.

that in the real world, whatever it is you are about to embark on is really just silliness. You haven't taken into account ANY of the most basic BAD SHlT that could happen.

Maybe it is just your body telling you how much shoes suck. Footwear harbors bacteria and fungi, and can be extremely hard to get rid of. Barefooting is also a good way to improve how your feet look and feel, and it strengthens the muscles in your feet and legs, and lets your body naturally regulate your stride, eliminating ankle knee and back pain. Also, being barefoot rocks, and your body probably wants more of it.

Well Heather, Its fear or embarrassment of failure in something you're currently responsable for. You're not the most confident of people are you? not a big risk taker, but u hide it well. Your subconsious knows this, and manifests itself in the only way it can, by putting a situation into a dream which would cause similar emotions (no shoes = embarrassment! followed by the caution and discomfort of having to go back barefoot because of YOUR blunder!). However this is not a big personal issue you have, so dont worry, dreams always over exaggerate things, its just the way the mind works. Recuuring dreams are all about YOU and YOUR state of mind, they are not magic, and cant tell the future, they simply put your emotions into scenarios, and once your frame of mind changes, so will the dream. Take care...
