gift ideas??? unusual friend!?
I need help finding a gift for my friend. He is geeky, but not a video gamer or toy collector. In the past, I've bought him a Lego Batmobile, a telescope, a Batman watch, and a collection of Teen Titans Christmas ornaments. He loves Batman and is a fan of other superheroes. He collects many types of comics, but he already owns the ones he wants - Getting a tshirt is out, because it seems too impersonal to me. He also enjoys many television shows from Smallville to Heroes to Chuck to Pushing Daisies and many more... He already owns them on DVD if available. He also enjoys Kevin Smith movies and Star Wars (4-6). I'm looking to spend $50 or less on something good. Any ideas? 2 things - he is an adult living with his parents (by choice) and he does not collect action figures. Also, he's not much of a socialite, so taking him out isn't really an option either.

you can always get him something that is outside of the things that you named. like something to get him out of his non-socialite slump? you could maybe go to macy's or somthing and get him a really nice cologn for under $50. or you could get him soundtracks to the shows that he likes. i think the pushing dasies soundtrack is a good one. if he hasn't watched True Blood yet, maybe you could get him that...i think that he might enjoy that show too. i hope these help :)

Tell him you didn't know what to get him. Make him out a card with a fifty in the flap and let him spend it on whatever he wants. Either that or (if you smoke) smoke him out. Or get a bottle of booze and watch his favorite shows. IDK just some ideas. -C

see if they have a throw blanket with heroes painting on it. you could get him a season of his favorate tv show. can find them cheap on ebay and other places. and it doesn't have to be one he's watched before. look at the seasons of the 4400 or supernatural. a mixed cd if u know what type of music he listens too. throw him a suprize party. people love suprise parties. :)

I have the PERFECT solution for you. If there's nothing here for him, it's not been invented!! Just a few highlights: USB rocket launcher - emoticons for the back windshield of your car - plug-in USB drink cooler - REAL light sabre out of Star Wars -- I could go on and on! It's brilliant stuff.
