I have a nice teddy bear collection to find homes for?
They're all in brand new, mint condition and belonged to my sister, who collected, among other things, teddy bears. There are lots of Brass Button Bears and some Boyd's Bears In The Attic, Russ Bears From The Past, Ganz Cottage Collectibles, a few Ty, and 1 Avon 100 Yr. Anniversary Bear. I can't keep them all and the local police department says that they have more than enough bears. Any suggestions for what I could do?

You might as well sell them on eBay and make some money while you're at it! Plus, you know that since people are willing to buy them, they'll have a good home for them :)

Have you asked if you could donate them to the pediatric floor of a local hospital? What about giving them to an organization that helps children with disabilities or underprivileged kids? Or even giving them to a home for elderly people. They would probably appreciate how precious the bears are.

Donate them to a children's cancer ward, Ronald McDonald House, etc. Kids will get joy out of them.

If you have a homeless shelter, a women's shelter or an abuse center they may take them off your hands and you could be helping a lot of people feel better. Or donate them to Toys for Tots program. You could raffle them off to make money for your favorite organization. Or give them to your local church or preschool for Christmas presents. Just a few ideas.

Have you tried your local fire department?

Maybe the samples do belong to a yeti or some type of beast unknown to science, or maybe it's as boring as a bear — a team of researchers at the University of Oxford and the Lausanne Museum of Zoology aim to find out. The new collaboration is called ...
