What are the best baby bottles, pacifiers, & diapers?
What are the best bottles , pacifiers and diapers in your opinion? My son has the avent bottles and playtex dropin bottles and seems to be a bit colicky and doesnt sleep well. He is on enfamil gentelease right now. I don't know if maybe its because i bought the parents choice liners and they dont kep the air out as much as the others. Also how much should a 2 1/2 month old baby eat and how often

I LOVE the Playtex VentAire bottles... they're easy to clean and my son never had colic or any other gas problems. My son also prefers the Avent pacifiers over the other ones. I like them because they come with a cap you can put over the nipple part when not in use. When my son was a newborn he wore Pampers Swaddlers... they're super soft and they have a mesh lining on the inside... they only go up to size 3 so I switched to Pampers Baby Dry when he was too big for the swaddlers and I love those too. I don't like Huggies.. they leak like crazy. Pampers and Huggies are really the only ones I've ever tried... other than a wal mart brand one my friend gave me and those are horrible. At 2 1/2 months my son was eating 4oz every 2-3 hours.

I would buy the Dr. Brown bottles and see how he does with them. I have heard the drop in bag cause colick. Huggies diapers.

i personally like the nuby(i think that the name) bottles because they have a that'sproof nipple but thats better for babies that can hold their own bottle...for newborns i prefer the playtex drop ins to eliminate air pockets....but i hate the actual drop in liners because i don't they leak if you dont allign them perfectly straight....but playtex has normal liners that will work in those bottles....they are much better....as for diapers...i like huggies...pampers have this weird jelly stuff when it gets wet....it just weirds me out.......and i never used pacifiers for my daughter

The best bottles I have found are the Playtex Ventaire (although I hear great things about Dr. Browns as well) The best advice I can give about colic is just burp him as well as you can, if he doesn't give you one keep trying. My son never used pacifiers but my best friends swears by the NUK pacifiers. I used pampers up until my son was crawling. They are the softest diaper that you'll find. Good luck

It's all going to depend on your baby, but i can tell you what i used and liked. Avent bottles leaked like crazy, so i switched to Playtex Drop Ins and never had a problem, they were great. My daughter only liked the angled Nuks, so she would take the Gerber Nuk and the Playtex Ortho Pro, but i bought the Ortho Pro the most since i liked them better. I have always used Pampers and loved them. I have used Huggies from time to time and each time i regret buying them, they always leak! I can't answer the question about how much should a 2 1/2 month old baby be eating, my daughter was breast fed at that age.

The gas is not from the bottles, lol, it's from formula.

Most babies have colic's regardless the kind of bottles you use, try burping him often while feeding, if that does not work, there a tea call sleepy time, sold at walmart and you can try mixing him one bottle a day with tea instead of water (don't make the tea too strong) and the best diapers for me are Hughie's. He should eat every 3 hours

I used the Avent bottles, but the ones with out the liners. I did like them at first but after a while they start to leek and don't seems to close right. My son liked the Avent pacifiers. As for diapers I use the target brand. They work really good and are cheep.

I love the gumdrop pacifiers. They're like the Soothies but not as bulky. I used the Playtex drop-in bottles and they worked great for us. I do buy the Playtex drop-ins. I stock up when they go on sale. I have tried so many diaper brands. My son leaked out of Huggies every time. We prefer Pampers Swaddlers or any kind of Pampers. Luvs is also a really good cheaper brand and they're coupons are really good if you sign up on their website they'll send you some in the mail. You can use Target's coupon plus the Luv's coupon together to get a good deal on diapers!

My favorite bottles are the born free bottles, But we use the parents choice bottles now that my son is a little older (8 months) because they are much more cheaper. My son is not on a pacifier and never has been but if he was I would definitely go with the soother (the green rubber ones). The best diapers in my opinion is Pampers, We started out with swaddlers in till we got to size 3 and now we are in cruisers (great diapers). It does not matter the age of the baby, you just let them drink however much they want. Babies will let you know when they are hungry and when they are full. For a 3 1/2 month old I would offerat leastt 4 ounces and then if they still want more then go up an ounce. Usually a 3 month old is drinking 4 ounces at a time but all babies are different so just go with your babies cues.

I use Playtex dropin bottles and use the PC bottle liners and my son seems okay. Its not the bottle liners, just because its a cheaper brand doesnt mean it wont keep air out. Maybe he has gas, and you should switch him to a different formula that helps fussiness, gas, and spitup. I would say in my opinion, the best bottles are playtex dropins. They are more steralized and my son really likes them. Then it would be Dr.Brown or Avent bottles. I put my son on Gerber pacifiers on the help to reduce sids one. He loves those pacifiers and they are only about three bucks and comes with two. Any other pacifier he just spits out because it wont stay in his mouth good enough. I HATE PARENT CHOICE DIAPERS. They are cheap for a reason. I have used luvs, which are pretty good but sometimes his poop will come out the side. Huggies also work pretty good on him but sometimes gets the same problem. Im about to try Pampers, everyone says their the best! My son is a big eater and I think he was eating 4-5 oz at every feeding at that age. As long as he gets no less than 3 oz im sure its enough, I would say 3-4. Congrats on the new addition to your family!!! Being a mother is hard work, but so very rewarding. I wouldn't go back in time and change it if I could.

Bottles: Any of the playtex bottles are formulated to stop air from getting into the formula. Diapers: PAMPERS SWADDLERS ARE THE ONLY GREAT DIAPERS. I have a 3 month old and I was given every kind of diaper when I was pregnant. After testing ALL of them I can truly say the pampers swaddlers are the ONLY way to go!!!! Pacifiers: I really dont think it makes to much of a difference between them. As long as they are for the certain age then you are good!
