If you are searching for big and tall shirts, it is important to know the steps involved in making certain that the shirts are the right fit. Not only are clothes that fit inappropriately a ghastly sight, they are also very uncomfortable.

If you have the right fit, everything else is considered to be "right" - the look, the feel, everything. While most individuals choose sizes small, medium, large and extra large, it is important to understand that there are other sizes and measurements out there as well. Here, you will receive a few small tips on how to make certain big and tall shirts are the right fit.

First, you should ensure that you measure the neck area of the shirt to ensure that it is compatible with your neck size. There should be enough room between the neck and the collar of the shirt to slide in two fingers. It is also really important to select the chest size of the shirt.

Shoulders are another area of concern. This is especially true if you have broad shoulders. It is also essential to ensure that you select shirts that are appropriate to your arm size. If you follow these tips, it will be simple to ensure that the big and tall shirts that you choose are the right fit.

Today's Discussion

Where can I find big AND tall dress shirts? (24 neck, 38/39 sleeve)?
I need to buy a dress shirt for an internship fair next month, but since I am a big guy, I am having a hard time finding the right shirt (24 neck, 38/39 sleeve). At the local big and tall shop, I can easily find 24 neck shirts but the sleeves aren't long enough. I can find also shirts with 38/39 sleeves but they are all less than 24 neck. Basically, I can find big shirts and tall shirts, but not big AND tall shirts. Can anyone recommend a website that sells 24 neck, 38/39 sleeve dress shirts? I have searched many big and tall websites, but have had no luck finding one with big AND tall. It is always one or the other. Thanks for the link Jon T, they had the size I was looking for and I just ordered from them.

www.threadsbigandtall.com I understand your predicament. I, too, am a big AND tall and from the choices offered by most manufacturers, I get (and I'm sure that you would agree) the impression that the clothing designers/manufacturers consider the customer to be either big or tall but not both but we both know that that is not the case. No matter. Give the guys at threads big and tall a chance. I've used them and have had no problems with the product nor the transaction. Good luck!
