Bow fishing?
Who here has tried it? What all do you need to be succesful? What species do you typcially try for? Is bow fishing practical for turtle? Thanks.

No such thing as bow fishing!

Bow fishing is great. I have done it for years. Most sporting goods stores can sell you anything you need for a good rig. I think the hardest thing about it is judging depth and knowing to aim low on your target. I'm not sure on the legality for turtles but it does work for them as well.

i do it and it s alot of fun. a bow that can get wet in case you drop it or step off a drop off and go swimming fishing arrows i like the ones with the replacable heads you will lose tips from hiting stumps and thing under water carp have not tryed turtles might have a hard time bustin thru the shell on larger ones

I've tried it, the main species in the south east are carp, drum, and the king of 'em all, the alligator gar.
