Today's Discussion

Does anyone have an ideal how much a 1998 buick park ave chip key will cost?
I just bought a car and the dealer only had a valet key! So I don't have any trunk keys nor do i have any original ignition keys not even a fob to open the doors and trunk and I'm sure most of the later park ave had that. So how much will it cost about to get these items from a locksmith or buick dealer?

Depending on where you go, $50-$100. I had a chip key made for my 06 G6, and it cost me $80.

Not sure about the fob. A locksmith can make you a key from you valet key that will do everything, it is a difference in the key blank used, and program it for you. In my area, I think it is $60 - $80. Call a locksmith, ask them what you asked here.
