frigidaire electronic ignition not working?
I have a frigidaire dual fuel range (with the convection options) and the electronic ignition on the stove top burners is not working. You know how normally you turn the burner to "LITE" and it goes "CLICK CLICK CLICK" and lights? mine doesn't CLICK anymore, there's no spark. I checked the wiring diagram at frigidaire's site and they don't mention any kind of internal fuse (looked for it too, no fuses that I can see) so why would they suddenly stop working? I heard a POP while cooking a turkey for easter, and after that i wasn't able to start the burners. The oven part works fine (dual fuel, so electric oven) and the breaker did NOT trip at my electrical panel. The power for this ignition is clearly coming from the 40AMP range outlet, because it is the only power going into the range. If anyone knows what the issue is, or what part needs replacing let me know. For now i am manually lighting the burners as per the manual (with a BBQ lighter) Thanks
