does having corner moldings to protect your bumper require holes in the car?
When I "build a car" online, there's an option to have "bumper corner moldings" on the car. Does having this option require them to drill holes in your bumper in order to install them? I know that my car has side moldings and when they are taken off, there are holes on the doors that the molding lines up into.

It depends on the manufacturer however most of the dealer added molding glue on with special 3M glue. Nonetheless, if your concern is that you may want to take them off one day... the glued on ones are just as bad because if you take them off, it will be hard (but not impossible) to remove the glue and depending on how long they were on for... the paint under them will likely be darker than the rest of the bumper. Options like this seem to make sense but in a way they are counterproductive. The entire point of them is to protect your bumper from damage however adding them to your car almost insures they will get damage just from being installed. Personally, I think options like this are just another way to make a few bucks for the dealers. I would skip it.

Dish soap is for dishes, not for cars. Dish soap will strip the vehicle's wax finish and dry out rubber seals and plastic moldings. Splurge a little and buy a good quality car wash shampoo. Use a garden hose with a gentle spray or a free flow nozzle.

Since I'm into cars and trucks, I thought it was cool. Trev sold it to Ryan “Hopper” Hoppe, another good friend and employee. Hopper had the rear bagged and the frame fabbed and four-linked by Gabe D'Agosta at Insane Customs.
