Is it legal to make a full sized car into a pedal car?
Okay. Idky but i have the urge to do this. Okay so basically i want to by a car and take the engine cas tank basicall everything out and off exceptf for the chasis frame and interior. So it would be a car that has no vroom. Then what i want to do is transform it onto pedal power like a pedal boat. Thats my idea for a go green senior project. But is that even legal? Ive seen vids and ish. Technically it would be a bike rightt?

it would be too heavy to pedal efficiently. i doubt it would be legal to take on streets or the interstate either.

Would be less costly and faster to Design and Build something like that!!

It would have to be a small car, and even then, the weight could be just too much to move around. Try pedaling a bicycle with an extra 1000 lbs (455 kilos) of weight on it. It would be difficult, and I am not sure that it would be as light as that even. A small, single passenger car like bicyle, would work, I think, but I think they have them already. Well, good luck in your adventure.
