Living in a warm area I was searching for a good casement air conditioner as I had heard so many great things about them.

I purchased mine and after a few hours installing it (I'm not the cleverest of guys when it comes to installing anything) it was up and running.

I was able to quickly cool down my main room using the AC. It took around 30 minutes to get the temp nice and low which was fast considering it was a hot day.

Now to make sure my room is cool when I get in from work I set the timer to come on 20 minutes before I am due home.

As well as being excellent at cooling my room quickly I was also impressed that the AC had a remote control, so no having to stand on chairs to change the settings.

Not only that, but when it is up and running it doesn't sound like an aircraft taking off as some other air conditioning units do.

All in all, I'd say that a casement air conditioner is just right for anyone who wants cool air quickly and without much background noise.
