Anyone have tips or techniques for sidewalk chalk art?
I'm going to to a large piece of sidewalk art, I've practiced & the outcome is pretty good, but I was wondering if there were any sidewalk artists that could give some tips or techniques. I tried soaking/wet chalk but I'm not a fan & am really looking to get the best coverage with just dry chalk.

with the soaking wet chalk i get better outcomes, but its not soaking wet you put the chalk in a bowl of hot water then take it out and dry it off then draw... any way shading works best with crumpled up newspaper, and to make your colors better looking together, keep them a centemeter apart, because when you cross the line with too many colors it colides and then all its good for is being stepped on. i hope i helped alittle
