honestly, would you do it if you were in my shoes? What is your opinion about spendind such amount of money on art? Is art worth it...worth money..is it to be judged by the price on the label???

If you've got the dosh then the best thing to do is spend it up.

Hello, Fine art is a great investment. I collect it and the value of my collection increased 600% on average over 20 years. I am afraid 70,000 pounds is well out of my league for a particular painting but if you have the means, go for it; just make sure that you love the piece ans can live with it for a spell.
