chow's are generally more wild. I have a chow mixed with a retriever, and he is more active than a normal retriever would be. In some ways, he is slightly more violent, but he's pretty young, so he still has time to calm down.

how you can tell if a dog has chow it will most generally have a black tongue or there will be black spot on tongue i think i had one of these before an they are really active an like to run an jump an play but while eating do not disturb as a simple safety rule to every dog no matter what temperment do not disturb while eating
