I've had....Atari, Nintendo, Super Nintendo and now I have XBOX. I also had a Nintendo Gameboy when the first came out.

My first game system was an Odyssey 300 by Magnavox in 1977. It played "Tennis", "Hockey", and "Squash". My next game system was an Atari 2600. After that, I switched to a TRS-80 Model I, Level II, which I kept through high school. Following that, I gave up gaming.

We had an atari when I was growing up while my husband had an intelevision. We later upgraded to a nintendo. Today, we have an XBox and a Gamecube.

My very first console system was the Atari 2600. I had (literally) dozens of games for this system. After that, I moved to the Atari 5200, the "next generation" of console games. Unfortunately, the 5200 never developed quite the following that the original 2600 did and far fewer good games were released for it. I purchased my first desktop computer in 1985 and largely forgot about console games for a long while afterward. But then, about 7 years later, while babysitting a friend's child who owned a Nintendo, I rediscovered the joy of console gaming. I bought myself a Super Nintendo Entertainment System after we moved from where they were and had many happy hours playing with that. From the Super NES, it was a short step to the Nintendo 64, which I picked up when the system debuted. I still have my N64, and still play it on occasion. It had some of the best games available. PlayStation (the original), by the way, is considered a "classic" console system (though the PS2 is not). It is largely out of use and is no longer supported, relegating it to the realms of "classic" console systems. I bought a PS2 after several years with my N64.
