Gift basket delivered with coffee and breakfast rolls?
A few years back I received a package in the mail with an assortment of breakfast rolls, bags of ground flavored coffee, tea, and two cups. It was a nice gift package. Anyway, I do not remember the vendor that made the gift package. There are about a dozen online that do that sort of thing. Witch one is best, and why? What was your experience? Who should I not do business with? I plan to order one for couple that was recently married.

Most vendors on line have a review section. Read reviews - pick the best one. Sounds like a lovely gift.

You can't go wrong with Harry and David or Williams Sonoma. They're known for quality here in the U.S. Since I love giving personal gifts I often make my own, giving me total control. 1. Determine your budget. 2. Shop for gourmet coffee (if you're near a Peet's Coffee and Tea get it there) 3. Buy his and her mugs at a Mikasa outlet, or even Target. 4. If you're hand-delivering, visit the best bakery in town for breakfast breads or rolls. 5. Better still, bake something fresh yourself if you know how. 6. If you don't want to fuss with a gift basket and cellophane wrap get a free box at the post office. Line with a linen towel and gift wrap. You can also use a gift bag. Whatever you do, remember it's the thought that counts.

Those gift baskets are fun to get, the variety of "little things" inside can follow a theme of sorts, whatever you're thinking or whatever you like. There are a number of companies and mail order houses that will put something together for you. There are also a number of different price ranges, depending on what is in the basket and the sizes of those things. Little warning, though: if you use one of the mail order cos.,to order a pre-filled basket, your recipient should be pleased with the gift but maybe not so pleased with the SIZES of the contents. I've run into this problem, myself. In years past, I have ordered Breakfast Baskets, for my children, for Christmas morning. Last year's gifts were so small in oz. weight, I would have done better buying everything myself. So that's my advice...visit a food store, department store, or even a gourmet food store, gift store, whatever. Buy a basket, and fill it with little things that pertain to an idea or activity that your recipient enjoys. And have fun with it !!
