Anyone can learn to read HTML quickly and easily without having to pay for expensive computer school classes. HTML or "Hypertext Markup Language" is the computer programming language that is utilized to display pages on the internet or World Wide Web (WWW). While HTML may look complicated, this computer language was actually designed to be easily read by anyone wishing to create files or documents to display on the WWW. Many other programming languages have since been developed after the release of HTML; however, HTML still remains the most popular programming language utilized today for building internet web pages.

By learning the basics, anyone can begin reading and understanding HTML within an hour. Basic HTML will also allow you to create professional looking web pages with basic tools such as "Notepad" and a photo editing program. HTML language is based upon the use of opening and closing "tags" which are short and simple codes that are sometimes referred to as "on/off" switches as they determine how the text will be displayed in between. For example, by using the opening and closing bold tag (<b></b>) any text that is placed between these tags will display the text in bold.

These tags are also used to display images and position them where you want them to appear on your web page. HTML is also used to create "live links" or "hyperlinks" that can be "hidden" or imbedded in any text or image and connect to other web pages when a visitor clicks on them. These "hyperlinks are most commonly used in text such as "For more information click here" which will bring the visitor to another web page when they click on this text. there is no age limit on CompTIA or Microsoft certifications. Go buy the books, study, take the exams and then apply at a computer shop or start your own.
