When you buy fabric in bulk...it's really quite a bit for someone to start out. If there is a specific type of fabric you want, look up that companys website and contact them. If you want to just start with a minimum of bolts, you can go to schindlersfabrics.com or designdivas.com or interiormall.com. They have good wholesale prices and you can get an idea of what types of fabric you want. Also look at notions... there aren't too many fabric stores that carry a good amount of notions.
