I have a black crib, how can i stain it another color?
I ordered the wrong color crib and it is too expensive to ship it back, its black and I wanted cherry. Any ideas how to fix it?

Problem with stain is you can go darker, but not lighter. Painting is your only option, and not a good one. Learn to say "black is beautiful".

live to write, write to live
use caustic soda and water and sand paper and scrub the crib down till the black peels off. stain it cherry and see what it looks like, if its wrong you can always paint it. good luck
