If you've played the original FFVII game then I'd say yes. Crisis Core lives up to the hype it's been given. The battle system does take some getting used to since it's very different then the turn based battle system of the other games but once that's figured out you should be fine. The graphics on this game is awesome. As for your other question, if you mean the order of all things associated with Final Fantasy VII then here's the basic order that's I've figured out: Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core(since it's the prequel I listed it first but it might be better to play the original game first). Final Fantasy VII Final Fantasy VII: Advent's Children (Movie) Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerebus.

Yes Crisis Core does very much live up to the hype. The only thing i can say that was bad about this games was how easy the final boss battle was on normal mode. That may just be me cuz i over leveled and prepared lots of stuff for it, but there is a secret boss battle who is outrageously difficult if you aren't well prepared: Minerva, godess of the planet. She will keep you busy for a while. The graphics are what all of us dreamed about when we were playing FF7, and watching those beautiful cut scenes The compilations are ordered as follows: 1.Before Crisis (Game) 2.Crisis Core & Last Order (Game & Movie that take place during the same time periods) 3.FF7 (Game OF COURSE) 4.Advent Children (Movie) 5.Dirge of Cerberus (Game) I would hope that all the hardcore FF7 fans out there try and locate these compilations, then watch/play them from start to finish. XD
