lol like what the first answer said, punk has no rules. punk is about being yourself, no matter how bad or good you are, and not giving a sh*t about what other people think. i think metal guitars would be good for punk. any guitar is good for punk except guitars that would be used for classical, bluegrass, jazz, blues or country.
