Get an application and apply. The worst they can do is say no. Talk to current employees and see what type of requirement there are. Be persistant with your search. The more persistant you are the more they will remember you and take you into consideration.

Apply! It doesn't hurt. Be sure when you pick UP your and AND when you drop it off that you dress nicely and act professionally. (Did I mention that I would do this in person, even if you CAN online? When you pick up, ask if there are any openings and when the manager is in the store. Time your dropping it off for when the manager is there - and ask to hand it to that person unless they are super busy. Tell them you are eager to learn and very interested in working there.) Everyone has to start somewhere! Best of luck!

Everyone starts out not having a job. All you can do is apply. I would also start putting in applications at other places too.

At 17 years old, no they will not hire you. You need to be 18 to be hired by The Disney Store. If your 18th birthday is coming up very soon, your chances of being hired prior to your birthday are greater as they sometimes make exceptions to those who will be turning 18 very shortly. TDS has been known to hire applicants as young as 16, but that is ONLY for the holiday season and those seasonal hires are let go after the holiday is over. 18 and over seasonal hires have the possibility of being hired as a regular. Any needed experience really depends on what the store manager is looking for. Some managers do prefer retail experience (especially as the Christmas season draws closer since it gets really busy with not a lot of time to train), some are willing to train. As with any job, if you don't have experience, make sure you shine during interviews. Know about the company, about the product they carry. This will show enthusiasm and an employer is more likely to hire a non-experienced person with enthusiasm for a company rather than an experienced person who could care less. Disney Store is known for doing group interviews, so enthusiasm and knowledge is very important here since you want to stand out and be noticed. My advice would be to simply visit your local Disney Store and chat with the store manager. Ask him or her some questions about what they are looking for. Display your enthusiasm for the company. Discuss your age and when you'll be turning 18. Dress appropriately...you want to portray a good image so that you stand out more. And if everything goes smoothly, request an application, fill it out right away, and turn it back into the manager that same day so that the manager remembers who you are when he or she is looking at the application. Good luck!

Go right before Halloween, and offer to be a stock person. They will hire you for the holiday season right away. Then just do a good job, show up on time, have a good attitude ect. Then after the holiday they will hire you on as a regular worker.
