dragonball z?
Ever since I watched dragonball z, I can't watch any other animes because everything sucks in comparison with dragonball z (at least in my opinion) I watched gt, it's not as good but still good. I watch bleach when it comes out, but that's only once a week, and anyways I don't think it's nearly as good. Can anyone recommend an anime that is very similar to dragonball z?

One Piece !! Fr some reason YA isn't allowing my link to youtube, so go to youtube and search " One Piece" and click on the video that is titled" Luffy vs Lucchi" or the ones below it will do too. If you like it then give the first chapter a chance One Piece - One Piece beats Naruto. Believe it !

one piece, bleach, and naruto, are pretty much the same as dragon ball z, the main characters want to become strong so that they can protect their close ones, and there is always somebody stronger , and in bleach and naruto, ichigo and naruto can transform, and gains big boost in power, in One Piece, luffy can go up in gears.

As lots of people have mentioned, One Piece and Naruto are similar (but i agree, DBZ is one of my fave series ever) and I recommend Saint Seiya as well. You'd be surprised to see lots of current manga artists (including those of One Piece and Naruto) were inspired directly because of Toriyama's artwork. It depends on if you're after manga or anime series. Toriyama oversaw the anime and game for the Blue Dragon franchise as well as DragonQuest and some other manga-only one-shots such as SandLand, Cowa!, Dragon Boy and Kajika. You would probably like his Dr Slump series although it's focused on comedy over action. This was made into at least 2 anime series as well as an 18-volume manga series and is really popular in Japan. The thing with DB is that there's nothing really 'like' it. DB was the first anime I really got into watching every week and I've never found anything that is quite as exciting and remained so after so many years.

In my personal opinion there can never be any anime as good as DBZ. It is really a great masterpiece. It is the right blend of all essentials in an anime. It has action, fiction ,comedy, love, sentiment, heroism, surprise and much much more. Nothing can come even closer to it. You better not hunt for any such anime as there is nothing like that.

I love DBZ and i also really like Naruto.. honestly i diddnt like the first few episodes of it but it gets better.. you could also try Dragonball. Its about when Goku was a kid and his adventures when he was a kid soo yeah. this is a great website to watch all the episodes to (has all episodes of DB, DBZ, DBGT and even has all the movies)

Can any other medium outside animation do what the creators of DRAGON BALL Z did for the series' 20 th anniversary in 2009? DRAGON BALL Z was the sequel to the late 1980's anime series DRAGON BALL picking up pretty close to where that series ended.

Dragonball Z for Kinect QR Trailer

Well Dragonball Z for Kinect might fit the bill. It doesn't look earth shattering, but more so what you'd expect from a DBZ game made for Kinect. The first person combat reminds me of Mocap Boxing from the arcade, minus the intergalactic space ...
