That is easily done with a volt meter attached to the motor terminals.

Unplug the electrical connector at the window motor. Using a test light probe each connector wire while activating the window switch If the test light illuminates you know that the motors no good. Good luck and hope this helps.

use a volt meter , connect the leads to the motor plug , should have 12v when hitting the up button , and should have -12v when hitting the button down depending on how you connect your leads it may be vice versa that tells you the switch and wiring to the motor is good if you have 12 volts if not more better to take to a shop unless you plan on buying a power probe 3 and know how to use it to diag.GL

yea pritty easy to do take your door panel off then un plug ur window motor then plug ur master switch in ground one end of the test light and take the other end and put it in the conector that pluged to the motor and then work the wondow switch both ways if the test light lights up go to the other side of the plug and do the same thing if the light lights up on each wire the window motor is bad. you can also put power the the window motor put postive one one wire and negtive on the other ant the window will go up or down switch it and it will do the oppsite of what it did when it was hooked up the other way. all the window switch does is switch the polairty between the 2 wires for up or down
