I've seen online dealers sell these, although I'd be a little hesitant to order online. I would go through a local dealer and installer if I were you, that will stand by the work. Supposedly the Mitsubishi Mr. Cool are one of the best you can buy, but they are $$$$.

sanyo makes pretty good mini split systems. so does trane. there is no such thing as diy a/c work unless you have an epa license. you should contact a few local hvac dealers and get bids. if you insult a dealer by getting something online and asking them to install it, you will be sorry. if you go thru a dealer, there will be a warranty, if you order online there will be no warranty. hope this helps, Possum

Mitsibishi makes an excellant ductless system. It is quiet and doe a good job. The last I heard was that it must be purchased and installed by a licensed and trained Mitsubishi HVAC dealer. They are selling to the DIY market.
