Nasal spray is slowing losing its effect duration?
I've been using nasal spray for the past few weeks. It started off at 12 a spray like the box said. Then it went to 10,8,6 and now I'm lucky if it pasta an hour or two. I always wake up in the middle of the night with a completely closed up nose. What should I do?

You don't say what kind of nasal spray it is, If it's a decongestant spray they shouldn't be used for longer than 5 days or you get rebound congestion. Talk to your pharmacist, who might advise you to see your doctor. You could try taking an oral antihistamine.

This causes increased inflammation, an effect known as rhinitis medicamentosa, or the "rebound effect ". As a result, decongestant nasal sprays are advised for short-term use only, preferably 5 to 7 days at maximum.
