Why are All the Egyptian Protest Signs Printed in English?
Most of the Egyptian people can't read Arabic... Who's Printing their Signs?

i mean english is a pretty popular language

beacause the educated group knows quite well english and french. even though arabic is Egypt's official language, the masses know english too.

The majority of Egyptians are LITERATE and can read and write ARABIC and ENGLISH (and French too) since they are taught in schools. The signs are printed in English so their message can reach the world.

Are you stupid what do you mean most Egyptians can't read Arabic?, do you think everybody is like retarded Americans that can't read or write anything but english?, most countries in Africa / Mid-East were colonized by British, French, Spanish, German, Portugese etc. and these languages are the second language on top of the native languages,, if not the official language of the country. its common for someone in Africa to read and write more than 3 - 5 languages.

YO!
Nah haha you've got it all wrong. It's actually Americans that are pretty retarded. I mean I should know im one of them. Anyway, when I went to Egypt, I can't speak arabic that well, people would help me out in English. They can speak english and arabic. Most of my family members in Egypt can speak like 3 languages and my uncle can speak like Italian, arabic, French, Maltese, and english. They aren't stupid. Here in the US though, everyone only knows english b/c why should we learn anything else right??? LOL I'm being sarcastic.

One theory, said by radio talk show host Michael Savage, is that it is intended for English audiences and that Egypt is being overtaken by a group called the Muslim brotherhood, which has influenced Muslim radical groups like Al Qaeda. The Muslin Brotherhood has waited for this protest so that during the chaos they can install a leader who will be the front for their organization, who's intent is to spread the religion of Islam, by force or by other means. I don't know how much of it is true, but it all sounds a little fishy and I think what's happening there can be dangerous for us here in the US, and world over. I don't exactly understand all this, but I think it's still interesting. Take a look at the link below.

Not all of them, actually the majority were in Arabic, but some in English, and the international Channels view the English ones so u can read them

Most of the Egyptians speak, and read Arabic AND English There were much more signs in Arabic, but the news channel that you were watching only showed the ones you can understand

"It was rumored on many news venues that the US was somehow behind or supporting the massive protests in Egypt." ....Andrew T. Durham

I am an American!
The signs are in English because Obama and the Shadow Socialist Group are Behind Egypt’s Fall according to Michael Savage. Janet Napolitano and Muslim Brotherhood affiliates met secretly.

Egypt has a population of approximately 80 million people. One of the biggest industries in Egypt is the TOURIST INDUSTRY. About 15% of Egyptians work directly or indirectly in this industry and most of these people speak some English, because many tourists speak English. It is ridiculous to say "Most Egyptians speak English" (this is like saying most Mexicans speak English; they don't). Egyptian kids may learn a little English in school but they quickly forget this English if they do not use it once they graduate and start working for a living. The fact that many signs were in English, obviously shows that the demonstrations were well planned ahead of time, and they were playing to American television networks like CNN and ABC and CBS and NBC and FOX. I didn't see any signs in French or German or Russian, etc.
