You mean the grill element in the oven? The element is likely just out. That is the most common failure. If a free standing unit you unplug it and then you should be able to take the hanger loose and a couple of screws holding the back end of the element in place and pull it forward to ohm out the element that is likely open. If open replace it. This is providing there is enough loose wire to pull it forward to access and replace it. But if not then you have to remove the back to check and take loose the wiring there. Sometimes the connectors need replacing as they don't take the heat forever either. Good Luck.
