Wix oil filter, K&N Air filter never has to be replaced just clean it once in a while.

All Saturn cars have AC-Delco filters throughout the car from the factory. Wix, Modorcraft (made by Purolator) and Purolator Gold by name are equally as good. If the Saturn dealer isn't using AC-Delco filters the public is being ripped. Be extreemly careful if you intend to use a replacement K&N air cleaner on a GM (Saturn) product that's still under factory warranty. Do not let your certified Saturn dealer see it in your car or your factory warranty will evaporate like Casper the ghost. Cheap discount store Fram filters should be left on the discount store shelves.

There is one very simple answer here. Both the oil & air filter are A/C Delco. If it bothers you buying from the dealership go to an A/C Delco store. Both have been tested and approved by your vehicle manufacturer and are up to there specifications and that is what you use. Leave the junk on the shelf for the next guy. 40 years in the business has taught me a few things. No I am not a A/C dealer just a licensed technician.
