How easy is it to add door slides to an entertainment armoire? Is it worth it?
I bought an entertainment armoire and the doors swing open 270 degrees until they are flush on each side. I need to have the doors open 90 degrees and slide back instead. I'd rather have the doors slide in on the inside, but there's shelving on the inside which would prevent the doors sliding in there. I don't mind having the sliders on the outside though. a) Is it possible to add hardware to do this? If so, how? b) Is it worth the trouble/effort? It's either return the armoire and incur a net loss of ~$200 or keep the armoire and try and install sliders myself.
