Today's Discussion

Why does the audio fall behind the video in cut scenes in while playing pc games?
For some reason, whilest playing newer pc games (BioShock, Risen, Dragon Age: Origins, etc), during the cut scenes the video will play normally but the audio will be about 5-10 seconds behind. This is a really annoying problem and any help would be grand. Thank you.

Typically this happens because the computer isn't really up to running the game. 'Minimum system requirements' are truly minimum - it will technically run on a machine with those specs - but it may not be playable. Chances are that you need either more processing power or more memory. Try exiting any programs that run in the background - updaters, chat programs (even when signed off, some are running anyway), everything you can. This will free up memory and sometimes processing power, and may get things working.
