How good are hand-painted oil reproductions of famous paintings?
I'm considering buying an oil reproduction of a famous painting as a gift for someone, but I'm a little unsure of how the quality is when it says "hand-painted". Cheeky :)

To an untrained eye they would look like the original but they wouldn't have the depth or color or even the detail of the originals.
